Hair Growth.. Lets Talk ࿐

At some point or another many of us have dealt with wanting to grow our hair. Ask your self these questions to guarantee you are helping out your hair in the best ways possible..
1. Consistent trims.. when we wait too long to trim our dead ends, our hair splits and breaks upwards, overtime you will wonder “why does my hair not grow”. While its growing it’s also splitting upwards. To combat that issue.. come get a haircut!
2. Starting from the inside out.. our hair is an extension of our bodies and if your health is a low priority, your hair may be a result of that.
Questions to ask yourself- Am I eating enough? Am I drinking enough water?Am I eating enough protein/fat? Many of the nutrients are bodies need for hair growth are found in meats, dairy, eggs, fatty fish.
Some vitamins contributing to hair growth are Biotin (or b7)! Biotin contributes to the production of keratin which is the protein found in our hair. Vitamin A also is a great supplement for hair growth because it produces sebum in our bodies. Vitamin A is essential for scalp health. Vitamin C and E protects our bodies from free radicals. Free radicals are unstable atoms that age and damage cells. Vitamin C also produces collagen. Collagen is our bodies most abundant protein and helps new cells grow! It also helps us absorb Iron which aids in cell growth and repair.
3. Regular treatments.. regularly treating your hair for its own needs keeps your hair the strongest and healthiest it can be, allowing it to grow freely with out any resistance.
4. Treating hair with kindness.. constant pulling back of hair with regular hair ties will overtime cause your hair to break, try claw clips or silk pony tails. Playing with your hair all the time constantly touching the same spots will cause your hair to break. Using heat on your hair often, with out the proper protection will cause your hair to break. Sleeping on wet hair, being rough while brushing will cause your hair to break.
